Which map styles can customers choose?
Every map product ships with 28 map styles, among them Minimal, Vintage, Noir and Blueprint. You decide which ones fit your brand, and customers pick from the styles you turn on.
No map account needed for city maps
City maps come with the app: the map tiles and the city search need no account or API key. Only exact address search asks for a geocoding key of your own. Street maps and star maps work out of the box.

From preview to print file
The style, center and route your customer picked are saved with the order, and the print file is made from that design. Check it on the order before it goes to print. You can send it to Printful, Printify or MerchOne, or keep it and print in-house.
Questions, answered
Do I need a Google Maps account or a map subscription?
No. City maps are part of Composerie itself: add a map element to a product and it works, with no map service to register for and no extra charge per map. Only exact address search needs a geocoding key of your own.
How do route and trip maps work?
Your customer traces a route on the map or uploads a recorded run or ride, and the design updates live. Trip maps work the same way with multiple stops.
Which products can carry a map?
Any product you can print on: posters, canvas, mugs, phone cases, tote bags. If your printer can put artwork on it, Composerie can put a map on it.
Can I use map products outside Shopify?
Not yet. Composerie is for Shopify stores only, for now. If your store runs on something else, we're not the right fit today.
